Welcome to Stauffemberg German Shepherd Kennels. We are a German Shepherd breeding and training kennel located in Kentucky about 45 minutes south of Louisville and about 45 minutes from Bowlingreen Ky.
Our dogs are European West German Shepherds lines and we adhere to the European breeding standards to produce very balanced dogs. We have placed dogs with the law Enforcement agencies and as Working Service animals as well as with families and private individuals. We breed for the sole purpose of improving the breed. We make an effort to match or puppies for the owner satisfaction and the happiness of the dog. A German Shepherd that comes from show lines will be very beautiful in physical appearance. They will also show the protective qualities one desires in the breed coupled with the same great intelligence. We breed for solid bone structure, beautiful pigmentation, instinctive high prey and retrieve drives, solid nerves, good social behavior and defense presentation. Our puppies are excellent candidates for police K9 units, search and rescue, agility and obedience competition, schutzhund competition, personal and family protection and above all else a perfect loving companion
